Young leaders and high-potential employees will learn how to communicate effectively, manage up, and motivate and bring engagement to their teams.
He now provides Career Transition and Management coaching and Executive Coaching to King & Bishop clients. In addition, he facilitates the King & Bishop Executive Round Table for Executives in transition and workshops to enhances the practical skills needed in a job search. Also, Allyn has provided interview coaching and resume development advice to MBA students at the Harvard Business School. At Babson College, he coached undergraduate students in the Leadership and Teamwork Program. At the Olin School of Management, Allyn coaches MBA students on their career management plans and goals. His pro bono work has included coaching with the Institute for Career Transition at MIT’s Sloan School of Management, where he advised unemployed professionals over the age of 50 to execute successful job searches.
Allyn holds a master’s degree in public administration from the American University in Washington, DC, and a Bachelor of Sciences degree from the University of Massachusetts. He is certified by the International Coaching Federation and is certified by the National Association of Resume Writer as an expert in development of online profiles. He is certified to administer the DiSC assessment tool and the Career Leader assessment tool.
