The U.S. economy added 213,000 jobs in the month of June though the unemployment increased to 4%. The reason for the rise in the unemployment rate is due to the increase in the amount of people joining the labor force in June. Wages rose by 0.2% in June over May. The May 2018 Employment Situation brought more good news to the US Economy. Job creation came in at 230,000, ahead by 40,000 from most analysts’ predictions.
