Description
Our client, a leading biotechnology company, is seeking an AP/AR Specialist to join their team. This role will process orders, create invoices, respond to customer inquiries, and manage various administrative tasks that keep operations running seamlessly.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor the orders email box
- Process all orders
- Review purchase orders (POs) for accuracy
- Communicate and follow up with customers when PO revisions are required (e.g., pricing, net terms, quantity, etc.)
- Generate invoices using QuickBooks
- Calculate shipping
- Enter order details
- Distribute invoices to customers or upload invoices to customer payment portals
- Send email payment reminders and on-hold notices to accounts
- Field customer inquiries and provide shipping updates as needed
- Assist with product returns and issuing credits
- Support commercial administrative processes such as Sunshine Act reporting
- Research doctor and hospital data
Requirements:
- College degree preferred, not required
- 2-3 years of bookkeeping experience
- Experience with PO processing and setting up vendors is a must
- Skilled with MS Office Suite
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to processes/procedures
- Attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Customer service experience
- Familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus
