Business Development Manager

Our client, an innovative biotech company, has an immediate opening for a Business Development Manager. This is an exceptional opportunity for PhD scientists eager to blend advanced scientific knowledge with real-world biopharma applications.

Responsibilities:

• Cultivate expertise in cutting-edge biopharmaceutical science and develop critical business acumen
• Build and manage relationships with prospective clients, identifying opportunities, negotiating, and securing new contracts
• Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and industry events
• Collaborate with the Marketing Team to strengthen brand presence and raise market awareness

Requirements:

• PhD in Immunology or a closely related bioscience field (early career candidates are encouraged to apply)
• Strong enthusiasm for scientific advancements and biopharmaceutical business practices
• Enjoyment for networking with prominent scientists from leading biotech and biopharma companies
• Experience in generating revenue is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to travel locally up to 50% in New England for customer meetings and conferences
