Description
Our client, a well-known, reputable manufacturing company, has an immediate opening for a strategic and experienced leader to grow and manage its global industrial portfolio. This role focuses on developing category and segment strategies, leading product innovation, driving B2B marketing efforts, and identifying new business opportunities, with a key emphasis on expanding the industrial category, particularly in North America.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic planning for the Industrial category, focusing on key segments like Construction and Packaging
- Develop and execute product development roadmaps, driving new product initiatives and innovations
- Position company as a thought leader and supplier in the Industrial/Construction sectors
- Drive B2B marketing efforts to generate leads, engage customers, and support sales
- Analyze market trends and the competitive landscape to refine the value proposition
- Oversee business development opportunities, ensuring alignment with long-term objectives
- Collaborate with global teams to support product innovation and market needs
- Manage the Industrial category P&L, including cost control and budget oversight
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business strategy
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in product management, particularly in global, matrixed organizations
- Collaboration skills with technical and commercial teams
- Proven track record in driving product innovation, B2B marketing, and business development
- Experience in managing P&L, sales forecasts, and budget
- 20% or more time spent traveling
