Fractional CFO/Controller

Our client has an immediate opening for a Fractional CFO/Controller. This role is estimated to involve 10-20 hours per week, coordinating between external vendors to do the work, with the potential to transition into a full-time role with more programs and different accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the budget for the upcoming year based on planned hires, expenses, and revenue forecasts
• Manage external vendors, accountant, bookkeeper, and interface with captive manager to track and report expenses on a quarterly basis
• Interface with CIO (external fractional) to confirm investment management plan
• Work with internal staff to track financial operations dashboard including allocation of funds between accounts and between entities
• Support external auditor activities for compliance and financial reporting

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree
• Insurance/reinsurance industry-specific experience
• QuickBooks experience
