Description
Our client, a leader in providing comprehensive diagnostics and engineering expertise for the global energy industry, has an immediate opening for a Senior HR Coordinator. This role will focus on providing comprehensive support for Human Resources operations, including onboarding, compliance, administrative tasks, and employee services.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support for HR operations, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and company policies
- Create, maintain, and audit employee files in the HRIS system
- Prepare and process various HR documentation, including change in status forms, promotion letters, and policy updates
- Assist with HR projects, including maintaining organizational charts and managing checklists
- Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and internal communications
- Respond to employment verification requests and process unemployment claims
- Maintain an understanding of EEO codes, HR compliance requirements, and federal regulations
- Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all necessary documentation and requirements are met (e.g., I-9, E-Verify, benefits enrollment)
- Coordinate new hire orientation materials and logistics
- Draft and issue offer letters for new hires
- Post job descriptions and ensure they are formatted correctly and accurately reflect role requirements
- Ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements in recruitment materials
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Equivalent work experience in HR operations may be considered
- 5+ years of experience in Human Resources
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent attention-to-detail and organizational skills
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- A positive and collaborative attitude with a strong commitment to team success
- Strong knowledge of federal HR compliance standards and EEO guidelines preferred
- Previous experience managing checklists and processes preferred
- Familiarity with onboarding, offer letters, and HR compliance procedures preferred
